I like to take pictures of different stuff /
And see it as a glimpse of time that I tricked to stop /
For a split second like I cheated it /

The other was in New Zealand when I went on tour /
And hired a van for a couple weeks /
Me and dan mooching on the South Island through the peaks /

Down to the beach in Hokitika /
A visit to the Jade shops, plus we ordered pizza /
And it's things like these that help to form a piece of /
Who we are and what's important while we're walking here coz /

It doesn't last forever, and you can plan for't future /
But don't plan too much without enjoying t'now's the truth I..
..guess I'm gettin' preachy while I offer my advice /
I'm just tryna live in't present, coz that's where I'm happy, right? /
